FAQ

No, The World Games 2022 Transit Line is complimentary to the public.

No, for most venues, parking will be reserved for volunteers. This will serve as a great option for the BJCC venues, Boutwell Auditorium, Sloss Furnaces and Avondale Park.

No, athletes have their own dedicated transportation.

Legion Field and the TWG 2022 East Parking Lots (5th Ave S and 33rd St S) have the most dedicated parking spaces, but there are stops near many entertainment areas in Birmingham including, but not limited to, Avondale, Parkside and Five Points West.

All three lines deliver patrons to the BJCC campus on Reverend Abraham Woods Blvd at The Hub.  The Blue Line will take you to Legion Field, BJCC, Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena and Boutwell Auditorium.  The Red Line will take you up and down 20th St from the Hub (BJCC, Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena and Boutwell Auditorium) to downtown Homewood.  The Green Line will take you to Powell Steam Plant in Parkside, Avondale Park, Sloss Furnaces, Lakeview/Pepper Place, BJCC, Protective Stadium, Legacy Arena and Boutwell Auditorium.

TWG 2022 and City of Birmingham have partnered with the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) to create the Red Line, which mimics the Magic City Connector.
