Frank Lawrence III is the Founder of ICON Health, a national healthcare consulting firm with offices in Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. His background includes 18 years of experience managing Federal, State, and Community level public health initiatives for various audiences. He has previously worked with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the National Institutes of Health in Washington, DC. His notable accomplishments include working alongside Dr. Sunjay Gupta of CNN; creating Prostate Cancer initiatives with Charles Barkely via UAB’s Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center; and working with the U.S. Surgeon General on the current Let’s Move Childhood Obesity Prevention Campaign.
ICON Health focuses on increasing the capacity for Federal agencies to better implement organizational objectives. Annually, the Federal marketplace is a 600 billion dollar industry in which ICON competes amongst others for Federal contracts. ICON has recently been accepted into the Federal 8a program, providing 10 years of sole-sourced Federal contract mechanisms until the year 2030. In addition to public health consulting, ICON also develops worksite wellness initiatives via John Hancock’s Vitality Program, and National Life Group’s education-based employer sponsorship program, via its Life Insurance Sales Division. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Frank brings a unique passion for improving the health and educational outcomes for citizens of Alabama. He is married to Nicole Dortch, a native of Indiana. They both find pleasure in raising their three kids: Kallan, Aiden, and Noa Lawrence.
