Volunteer

• Requirements:
  • Commit to a minimum hour requirement as a volunteer (each volunteer serves a minimum of 20 hours). Shifts are typically 4-6 hours in length. You can serve multiple shifts per day or just one per day.

Is your company or organization interested in serving together at The World Games 2022?

• Requirements:
  • Commit to a minimum hour requirement as a group of volunteers (Each volunteer serves a minimum of 15 hours)
  • Completion of training modules, click here for more information
  • Each group member must complete the volunteer application (there will be a prompt to insert company name)
  • Assign a “Team Captain” or Co-Captains (2) for your group. What does a team captain do?
    • A team captain must always be present when your group is volunteering. They are in charge of assisting with shift assignments, communication, and placement prior to the Games of their volunteers. They serve on site as the lead person of your groups volunteers; in charge of placing at each post, ensuring all of their volunteers are given breaks/lunch breaks, ensure all volunteers show up and facilitate a plan to cover any shortages in posts

Youth Volunteers (age 14-17 as of July 1, 2022) for The World Games will serve in advance of The Games, as well as opportunities to serve during The Games.

• Requirements:
  • After completion of Volunteer Application, all Youth Volunteers and a parent/guardian MUST attend a mandatory information meeting. Afterward, Youth Volunteers will need to confirm commitment.
  • Three (3) half day workshops leading up to The Games in Spring 2022 in preparation
